GONZALO PAZOS & ANGELO GONZALES
Hey there! Yes… we’re another creative duo playing off the similarity of our names. People call us Los Gon: Gonzalo Pazos (copywriter) & Angelo Gonzales (art director). Basically, one’s first name is the other’s last name. Fun fact: in Spanish, many last names ending in -es or -ez (like Gonzales) originally meant “son of.” So Gonzales = son of Gonzalo. Clearly… not the case here.
Jokes aside, we’re a Peruvian duo currently working at LOLA Madrid for global brands, with Unilever as our main client. So yes, we live in Spain, but we work in English. Before that, we worked at agencies like Grey, FCB, DDB Worldwide, and a few others. But for the past 8 years, we’ve been working together, so yeah, this partnership is basically a marriage. Again, not father and son. That would be… illegal.
Our work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and more. We brought home Peru’s first Innovation Lion, and Adweek named one of our ideas among the best in the world in 2022. We also love teaching and talking about creativity, so any opportunity to do that is always welcome.
